Dump truck loads of fill on the upper end of the fill pile should be spread, rolled, <br />compacted (and tested), or utilized as part of the embankment for the Technical <br />Revision under Appendix 5.9 (based on approval from the State of Colorado). <br />2. After the recent rains, the flatter portions of the main drain ditches should be checked <br />for siltation. Any excess siltation should be removed and the ditch returned to its <br />design trapezoid. <br />3. Some small erosion rivulets have started to form on the top of the fill pile, especially <br />where equipment ruts were ]eft. These should be bladed out and, if necessary, <br />recompacted. <br />4. Some longitudinal cracking has shown along the shoulders of the main fill pile during <br />this last wet period. T1vs should be monitored to determine if any additional <br />movement is occurring. If so, a plan for shoulder stabilization needs to be presented. <br />All in all, the drainage system appeazs to have functioned properly during this last <br />wet period and no major deficiencies were noted by the undersigned (other than those <br />listed above). <br />
