Located at water monitoring well SOM-2-H (F-Seam Well) above mined-out azea of longwall Panel 13. 1 • Overburden thickness to B-Seam is about 1,100 ft. 1 • Ron Hanna measured static water level drops over the last 4-5 years to a level of 657 ft on 5-14-99. Probe was obstructed at 540 ft on 7-20-99 in this well. Reexamined Location 9 of September 1998. Located above the west central mined-out area of longwall Panel 13. ' • Overburden thickness to B-Seam is 1,200 R. • There is no evidence of the cracks that were observed in September 1998-a time when ' no extraction mining had yet occurred in the area. Reexamined location 10 of September 1998. Located above projected Panel 13A where no I extraction mining has yet occurred. • Overburden thickness to B-Seam is about 1,100 ft. 1 • Some of the widest and deepest cracks occurred at this location in September 1998. Now the cracks, which were not mine related, aze now healed and sealed to the point where there is no evidence of them • One crack 3 ft long, 1'/z inches wide, 2 inches deep, and trending N30°W, was observed. No other cracks were observed. Reexamination of location 11 of September 1998 at monitoring well So.W-1. ' • Overburden thickness to B-Seam is 1,000 ft. ' • No evidence of any subsidence cracks or depressions was observed. • Ron measured a normal water level reading on 5-14-99 and on 7-20-99.
