Colorado <br />RE: fem. ~' csc - ~7 <br />Dear Operator: <br />On June 10 1983, the Division of Mined Land Keclamation <br />receives an annua fee payment in the amount of $700.00. To this date, <br />we have no record of naviny received the annual report as requested. <br />Submission is required by the Colorado Mined Land Keclamation Act, <br />Article 3L of Title 34, C.K.S. 1973, as amended. Your attention is <br />called to the following provisions from C.R.S. 1973, 34-32-116 for <br />operators holding a 111 or 112 permit. <br />34-32-11ti. Duties of operator. (1) Every operator to whom a permit <br />is issued pursuant to the provisions of this article may engage in <br />the mining operation upon the affected lands described in the <br />permit, upon the performance of and subject to the following <br />requirements with respect to sucn lands: <br />(a) On the anniversary date of the perrnit each year, the operator <br />shall submit a reclamation plan and map showing the affected land <br />and other pertinent details, such as roads and access to the area <br />and reclamation accomplished. All maps shall show quarter-section, <br />section, township, and county lines within the scope of the map, <br />access to the area from the nearest public road, a meridian, a <br />title containing the name of the person or engineer who prepared <br />the map, the date, and the township, range, and county. The <br />reclamation plan prepared by the operator shall be oased upon <br />provisions for, or satisfactory explanation of, all general <br />requirements for the type of reclamation chosen. The details of <br />the plan shall oe appropriate to the type of reclamation designated <br />by the operator and based upon the advice of technically trained <br />personnel experienced in that type of reclamation on affected lands <br />and upon scientific knowledge from research in reclaiming and <br />utilizing such lands. Except for operators having permits under <br />section 34-32-11U, the operators which are units of county <br />government or the state department of highways, the operator shall <br />submit, in addition to the plan and map, an annual fee of three <br />hundred fifty dollars if the operation is an open mining operation <br />or two hundred seventy-five dollars for any other operation. <br />423 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street Denver, Colorado 80203 Tel.
