Sedimentation Pond SurveYS. <br />• Peabody is required by Permit C-80-005 [o monitor sedimentation ponds for sediment storage <br />capacities. In accordance with Rule 4.05.6(11)tc), <br />Peabody visually inspects each pond a minimum of quarterly each year. During these <br />inspections, any drastic change in sedimentation storage or sudden increase in a sediment <br />delta at the inlet to [he pond could be detected which would require mitigative action. <br />No sediment clean out work is scheduled during 1992 for the sedimentation ponds at Seneca <br />11 Nine. Ponds 002, 003, 004 and 008 will be surveyed in the fall of 1992 and the results will be <br />submitted in [he 1992 Annual Reclamation Report. <br />Stock Tanks. <br />Peabody is required by Permit L-80-005, Appendix 13-9 (from TR-21) to provide as-built <br />drawings for all temporary stock tanks that were constructed in the previous year. <br />Thirteen stock tanks (T-1 [o T-13, see Exhibit 7-7 of Permit C-80-005) were completed in <br />1991. Exhibit 13-9.T1 to 13-9.T13 depict the as-built conditions of these temporary stock <br />tanks. These exhibits, included ui th [his submittal as a separate package, should be <br />inserted in the approved PAP. The monitoring requirements for these tanks were addressed <br />in the 1991 Annual Hydrology Report. <br /> <br />14 <br />
