Division of Minerals and Geology
On November 28, 2000, the Division of Minerals and Geology approved the succession
of operators from Western Mobile Boulder, Inc. to the Regents of the University of
Colorado for the Deepe Farm Pit, Permit No. M-1481-302.
In 2002, no activities occurred on the Deepe Farm Pit mining area with the exception of
on-going weed control and re-seeding of very minor areas of ground.
In 2003, there are no plans to disturb any of those areas remaining within this permit.
However, if during our regular inspections we note areas where vegetative cover is
sparse, re-seeding will occur as needed. On-going weed management will also be
undertaken, as appropriate.
We have enclosed some photographs of the site in its current condition.
We have also enclosed a check in the amount of $688.00 to cover the cost of the annual
fee.
