COLO RADO Bi302 <br />April 20, 1989 <br />TO: National King Coal <br /> <br />OFFICE 703 247-O I1B <br />RESIDENCE 341~3l60 <br />SUBJECT: Quarterly Inspection, Huntington Ditch, Second Quarter <br />1989 <br />1) The second quarterly inspection of the Huntington Ditch, King <br />Coal Mine, La Plata County, Colorado was made on April 19, 1989. <br />2) No inspection was possible during the first quarter because <br />of snow cover. <br />3) The ditch was found to be in good condition but does need <br />clearing and maintenance. <br />An inspection was made of the Huntington Ditch on April 19, <br />1989 for evidence of leakage and damage due to erosion and the <br />effects of underground mining. No such evidence was found. The <br />ditch does need clearing of weed and native plant growth and <br />sediment. The purpose of the inspection was to meet requirements <br />established by the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division for <br />quarterly inspection of the Huntington Ditch. <br />ed M.
