III IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
STATE OF COLC~ ., ~~
Roy Romer, Gove
DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES
MINED LAND RECLAMATION DIVISION
FRED R. BANTA, Director
DATE: September 29, 1989 ,-
T0: Jeff Clayton r~
FROM: Jim Pendleton ~--,-~L~
RE: Cyprus Orch d Val Mine 1989 Annual Mine Inflow Report
(Permit #C-83-038)
I have reviewed the above referenced report, which you forwarded to my
attention. The inflow monitoring results are straight forward. The majority
of the recorded inflow (2.53 gpm out of 2.57 gpm) occurs along the air shaft
bore near crosscut #10 of the South III Submains. The operator intends to
eliminate this inflow by grouting the bore collar during this fall.
In my opinion, this report fulfills the annual inflow report requirements.
However, I recanmend that you also forward this report to your team
hydrologist for review.
I will look forward to their annual Subsidence Report.
cc: Sue Mowry
215 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street Denver, Colorado 80203-2273 Tel.
