Subject: Annual Report for Jesse Lee Pit (permit#M-84-043)

This letter and the attached map constitute the annual report for the activities and
reclamation effort undertaken at the aforementioned property.
2000-2001 Activities
Activity at the pit during the last year focused on processing existing stockpiles and sales
of aggregate from these sources. No new excavation of the pit was undertaken, and
therefore no new land disturbance occurred. Activities occurred throughout the past
year with no cessation period.
2000-2001 Reclamation
Reclamation activity undertaken for the last year included re-grading of the west cut
bank in the permitted pit area (see map). Steep areas were cut to stable slopes and
natural vegetation has begun to grow on the re-graded slope. Due to the limited
activities at the pit, no other reclamation effort was necessary.
2001-2002 Anticipated Activities ,
Presently, activities anticipated for next year again are limited to reprocessing of existing
stockpiles and aggregate sales. Only minor pit excavation (few hundred tons) may
occur if pit-run is demanded. This excavation would likely occur on the present pit floor
—deepening it.
