<br />DELTA COUNTY <br />TRIANTOS GRAVEL PIT <br />1999 ANNUAL REPORT <br />No. M - 78 - 304 <br />There was no mining activity, no other disturbance, no operational dates, and no reclamation at <br />the Triantos Pi[ during the Report Year. The accompanying map shows the area of projected activity for <br />the year 2000 and the er~Yent of prior years disturbance. <br />Trian[os Pit is one of several operated by Delta County and is mined as needed for counq' <br />projects or gravel reserves. Delta County crushes and processes the gravel in each of its pits with a <br />portable crushing plant. T[ is anticipated the portable crusher w711 be moved [o the Trian[os Pit in <br />December 1999 or January 2000 and will operate there 2-3 months. The gravel produced will be <br />stockpiled. Due to the configuration and depth of the projected area to be mined no reclamation of [ha[ <br />area is anticipated for 2000. The operator intends to presen-e the ramped roadway along the South edge <br />of the Phase I gravel deposit for vehicle and equipment access to the top level of the pit. The ramp will be <br />mined at a later date. <br />
