of Photographs that CDMG Submitted to MCC 22 June 2005.
Dear Mr. Burnell:
MCC is submitting the attached hardcopies of photographs taken 22 June 2005, by the CDMG of
MCC's Methane Drainage Wells and Thermal Event Areas. We have identified the photographs and
have written the identification numbers on them. We have cross-referenced most of the photographs to
the Mountain Coal Company, West Elk Mine, 2004 Reclamation Photograph Project, (2004
Annual Reclamation Report) for the Division's convenience.
As a result of this exercise MCC determined that on Drawing N4RP701.DWG(3) of the
aforementioned Photograph Project that two pads on the Thermal Event Area map were mislabeled.
The pad labeled "Hole D", should be labeled Hole H, and the pad labeled "Hole I" should be labeled
Pad J (a hole was not drilled from this pad). This nomenclature will be corrected on the 2005
Reclamation Photograph Project.
Please notify me if you have comments or questions regarding the Methane Drainage Wel] and
Thermal Event locations identified on the CDMG photographs.
