Apparently, dry weather <br />conditions in the spring of 1994 caused the 1993 seeding effort to be a total <br />failure. The area was seeded again in 1995 which was virtually a total <br />failure. During early 1998 the mine site was seeded again. No seeding was <br />performed in 2001. <br />(f) The disturbed areas associated with the Hamilton Mine were backfilled and <br />graded during 1992 and 1993. Following is a table which presents the <br />number of acres disturbed, backfilled, topsoiled and seeded. Initial seeding <br />was performed in the fall of 1993.
