His address is <br />P.O. Box 37, Desert Center, CA 92239. The permit area is located on 312 acres of private land <br />approximately 4 miles northwest of Walsenburg in Section 25, T27S, R67W. Mine disturbance <br />including the pit, facilities azeas, and sediment control structures affected approximately 73.5 acres. <br />The pit area was reclaimed in 1989 and the sediment control system was reclaimed in 1992 with <br />shrub and warm season grassinterseedingin 1993. <br />The only reclamation activity which occurred at the site during 1996 was the grazing program to <br />assist with the development of warm season grasses and removal of garbage dumped on the site by <br />unknown parties.
