Long <br />c.~~. ~ Division Duenor <br />RE: Camp Bird, Permit No. M-82-090, TR-001 Revised Reclamation Cost Estimate ~j~-~ , <br />Dear Mr. Butters: <br />Enclosed is an updated cast estimate for reclamation of the Camp Bird Mine, based on the requirements of <br />the original permit application and any subsequent correspondence or revisions to the permit iincluding <br />Technical Revision No. 11• The condition of the site, at the time of the last inspection 110-07-981, was also <br />taken into consideration. As you can see from the attached calculations, it appears that the site is <br />substantially under-bonded at the present time. Therefore. pursuant to Section 34-32-11714) of the <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Act, the Division requires that Camo Bird Colorado, Inc. submit adequate <br />Financial Warranty within 60 days of receipt of this letter. A discretionary 60 day extension to this due <br />date may be granted, by the Division, if Camo Bird Colorado. Inc, demonstrates progress toward <br />reclamation of Camo Bird Mine, at the end of the first 60 day period. <br />Please replace the four page summary form, on the front of the cost estimate mailed to you December 15, <br />1999, with the enclosed summary form. Also, add the enclosed task no. 6a to the cost estimate package. <br />The Grand Total Bond Amount, indicated on page one of the Reclamation Cost Summary Form, is the new <br />financial warranty amount required.
