The report
provides information in the format approved by the Division as a result of Minor Revision No. 96.
The report includes a discussion of the survey schedule, mining advance, subsidence results, and
visual effects. A table of the subsidence monitoring data is also included. This table shows the
northings, eastings, pre-mining elevations, survey elevations of the current monitoring, the
previous (October 1994) elevations, and the subsidence for the current reported period
(July/August 1995 to October/November 1995) and total subsidence.
It should be noted that Mountain Coal Company changed contractors who performed the 5eld
survey for the subsidence report. The reasons for the differences in elevations between surveys are
numerous as is indicated by the attached letter from Valley Survey Inc. The survey was certiSed
by the Colorado Registered Professional Land Surveyor for Valley Survey Inc.
If you have any questions please contact me or Kathy Welt.
Sin
Q i~~r
A.
