. Station DH68 Drill hole 68 is located over Panel Z with approximately 1250 feet of cover.
Advance mining occurred directly under DH 68 in October 1993. The collaz
elevation of DH 68 was originally established in 1982 at 8191.92 feet. The
monitoring point established at this site was surveyed in January 1994 at elevation
8191.53 (-0.39 feet). The October 1994 survey indicates a minor (0.02 foot) loss
in elevation compared to the January 1994 survey. The 1997 survey performed by
Cragg Surveying shows a decrease in elevation of 0.5 feet. DH 68 was not tied in
to the 1998 survey, due to reasons discussed in the Cragg Surveying reports which
are attached to the 1999 Annual Subsidence Report. The 2000 survey performed
by Cragg Surveying shows a elevation gain of 1.00 Feet when compared to the
1999 elevation.
Station 95 Station 95 is located at the North quarter-comer of Section 15. The elevation of
Station 95 was defined by satellite survey in July 1992 at 84] 5.4 feet. Panel Y
development occurred east of Station 95 during July 1993. Station 95 was re-
surveyed in January 1994 and showed a 0.76 foot elevation loss. It is not apparent
whether this elevation change is associated with subsidence or the difference in
survey techniques. Cover in the vicinity of Station 95 is approximately 1,550 feet
and subsidence of this degree would not be anticipated in this area particularly
prior to retreat mining operations. Station 95 was pillared under in September or
October 1994. The October 1994 survey indicates a minor (0.08 foot) loss in
• elevation compared to the January 1994 survey. The 2000 survey performed by
Cragg Surveying shows a elevation gain of 0. ] 6 feet when compared to the 1999
elevation.
Station 99 Station 99 is located at the Northwest comer of Section 15. The elevation of
Station 99 was defined by satellite survey in July 1992 at 7921.9 feet. Station 99
was re-surveyed in January 1994 and showed a 0.96 foot elevation loss. The June
1995 survey performed by UTE Engineering checked within 0.01 feet of the
satellite survey. The 1996 average showed a drop in elevation of 1.55 feet.
However, the 1997 survey indicates an increase in elevation of 1.56 feet, and
returns this paint to the 1992 elevation. Based on the Cragg Surveying, station 99
appears to be stable. Cover in the vicinity of station 99 is approximately 1200 feet.
Mining has not been performed in the vicinity of station 99. The 2000 survey data
indicates an elevation loss of 0.06 feet when compared to the 1999 elevation.
Station 81 Grosse-Rhode Ranch Site. This station was created in 1996 by UTE Engineering
and Surveying Company to replace previous Station 94. Discrepancies concerning
stations 94, 96, 97 and 98 required new stations to be established. The 2000
survey data indicates an elevation loss of 0.21 feet when compared to the 1999
elevation.

-3-
