ATTACHMENT TO ANNUAL REPORT
ST JUDE MINE
PERMIT NO. M-1978-039HR
NOVEMBER 1, 2007
In December of 2006, International Uranium (USA) Corporation (the "Operator") formally
changed it's name to Denison Mines (USA) Corp. ("Denison") and succession of operators
forms where submitted to the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (the "Division"), on
May 21, 2007. In July, the mine site was occupied, and site maintenance and clean-up was
performed. Preliminary mine preparation work has been completed to re-establish utilities to the
mine site and to reopen the portal. As of the date of this report, approximately 5,000 tons of ore
were produced from the St. Jude Mine and shipped to benison's White Mesa Mill, located near
Blanding, Utah. It is anticipated that approximately 24,000 tons of ore will be produced from the
St. Jude Mine in the upcoming year.
A Weed Management Plan consistent with the requirements of San Miguel County and the
Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management (BLM) was prepared for the Sunday
Mines. Noxious weed control was completed using pesticide for halogen and knapweed. Figure
1 shows a map of the weeds encountered and the pesticide application areas.
All work completed at the St. Jude Mine has been completed in conformance with approved
Division Mine Permits and Plans of Operation with the Department of the Interior, Bureau of
Land Management (BLM). An updated site map showing conditions at the surface facility is
provided as Figure 2.
In August of 2007, the Division performed a routine inspection and found no deficiencies at the
St. Jude Mine. No changes occurred in the Permit M-1978-039HR area during the past year.
Routine site maintenance within the permit area was performed to maintain storm water controls.
The south edge of the site is being prepped for expansion and within the current affected area,
the waste rock area is being expanded east of the portal. This internal modification is shown on
Figure 2.
