The Financial War- <br /> ranty for this operation is $20,300. 00, the permitted area is in <br /> Logan County, covers 38. 00 ac. ± and the pit is not phased. As <br /> required in Rule 1. 6 the MINEPERMIT SIGN is at the entrance to the <br /> pit and the boundary has been outlined with posts to delineate <br /> the affected lands. This permit was converted from a 110 (2) <br /> permit to a 112 permit this year. Approval of the conversion and <br /> acceptance of the bond was completed on July 24, 1996. We <br /> increased the permit area from 9.95 ac ± to 38. 00 ac ± to extend <br /> the life of the mine. <br /> Requirement in the MLRB Rules and Regulations, rule 1. 15 and <br /> the annual review letter are addressed in the following report. <br /> Please refer to the enclosed ANNUALREPORT MAP for areas discussed <br /> in this report. <br /> (1) We continued to mine on the face opened when mining began. <br /> An additional 1.89 ac. ± was mined this year along the west <br /> side of the mine (yellow) . The face runs north and south <br /> across the old permit area and progressed to the west as we <br /> removed the material . The floor of the pit covers approxi- <br /> mately 6. 12 acres at this time. We have nearly completed <br /> mining the 9.95 ac. ± in the old permit area. The road was <br /> relocated to the west side of the facility this year also. <br /> (2) No reclamation was required this year. Temporary Bank <br /> sloping along the north and south sided has progressed with <br /> mining. We have approximately 484 feet on the north and 685 <br /> feet on the south shaped at 2h to lv, as approved (green) . <br />
