Deaz Mr. Watterson:
BTU-Empire's 2005 Annual Reclamation Report was received on February 23, 2006, with a second copy
received on February 28, 2006. BTU-EC provided descriptions of weed control methods, herbicide used
and noxious weed species targeted in the Annual Reclamation report.
Several discrepancies were noted on the 2005 Annual Reclamation Report form. The Annual Reclamation
Report form totals should be consistent from the preceding yeazs reported values.
In the first table on the form, the value entered in "Last yeazs cumulative total" should be in agreement with
the "cumulative total" column from the 2004 report. For this 2005 ARR form, the number of "acres
backfilled and graded" "Last yeazs cumulative total" value should be 262.0. If no new backfilling and
grading occurred in 2005, then "0" is entered into "this calendar year" column. The "cumulative total"
column should then reflect "last yeazs cumulative total" plus "this calendaz year" value. For 2005 the acres
back$lled and graded should look like:

Please provide a corrected 2005 ARR form for our files. When the ARR for 2006 is being compiled, please
use the same procedure; last years (2005) cumulative total + 2006 new work = 2006 cumulative total.
The second table on the 2005 ARR form needs one correction as well. According to the 2004 ARR form,
the 2004 cumulative total for "Acres seeded" was 262.0. Since no new seeding occun•ed in 2005, the
cumulative total for 2005 will be the same as the 2004 cumulative total.
Thank you for the timely submittal of the Annual Reclamation Report. Please provide a corrected ARR
form for the 2005 report.
