BOX 449 <br />FLORENCE, COLORADO 81226 <br />QUARTERLY INSPECTION REPORT <br />COAL PROCESSING WASTE BANKS <br />Waste Bank Identification: Primazy Refuse Disposal Area <br />Date of Inspection: August 29, 1996 <br />Waste Bank Location: Sec. 30, T20S, R69W, 6th P.M. <br />Fremont Counry, Colorado <br />Comments: The coal processing waste bank was visually inspected and found to be in general <br />compliance with the CMLRD approved Reconstruction Plan for the Coal Processing Waste Bank. <br />The planted areas of the waste bank exhibit good plant growth. Minor erosion rills were noted on <br />the topsoiled and seeded area on the south side neaz the advancing face. <br />Soils Testing Results: Soils testing by others on 01/13/96 yielded the following values. <br />MoistumDensily Relation fASTM D 6981 <br />Soil Sample Plasticity Index <br />Type <br />Coal washery fines (-3/4") Nou-plastic <br />Coarse refuse (-3/4") Non-plastic <br />Compaction Testing -Coal refuse pile.
