ERHIBIT E
RECLAMATION PLAN
The proposed future use of the surface soil of the ORION PIT is irrigated pasture
land. This plan proposes to restore the soil surface to depth and grade suitable for re-
seeding and installation of an irrigation system in full compliance of the requirements
of the Soil Conservation Service and the Colorado Department of Health, Stormwater
Discharge and Air Pollution Emissions license requirements. Proposed restoration to be
funded by Trust Fund/Sinking Fund established at the beginning of mining operations.
ORION PIT Operator shall not be liable far or required to pay for more Reclamation
costs than are in the Trust Fund/Sinking Fund for exclusive use in this purpose.
2. This plan proposes to meet reclamation plan requirements of the Soil Conservation
Service with site specific visit welcomed.
3. It is proposed to plant the top soil with seed mix according to recommendations by the
Soil Conservation Service.
4. Drained oils and fluids from equipment and vehicles will be returned to and disposed of
at an authorized disposal site and all trash and refuse will be hauled to the dump.
5. Waste rock dumps, tailing impoundment's, addits, shafts or buildings left on site, scale
house and truck scale will be removed at the end of operation of the pit and during
final reclamation of [he site.
6. No entry by surface owners or grazing of livestock is to take place until the bond is
released.
7. Reclamation Plan for proposed ORION PIT is to restore to present day conditions and
pasture land. Proposed ORION PIT is wide open hayfields/pasture lands with minimal
brush and trees, therefore presents no refuge for wildlife; however, to minimize the
disturbance to wintering deer, elk and wildlife, restricted winter hours of operation will
be maintained from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Site specific consultation with agencies
involved in the reclamation will be encouraged.
~~~~6
