Cattany
Division Direttor
Natural Resource Trustee
This letter is to acknowledge the timely receipt of the 2005 Annual Reclamation Reports
for the referenced permits. The reports include updated disturbed area maps for each
mine depicting disturbance that occurred during 2005, as well as the required
standardized reporting forms for each mine.
We have one question regarding the mapping. Based on site inspection, there is an old
drill road that branches off the light use road depicted on the maps, and traverses a south
facing hillslope. A short segment of the road, perhaps a quarter mile, was re-disturbed by
the operator during the December 2005 construction, but abandoned in favor of the route
along the stream channel. This segment was subsequently reclaimed in January 2006.
Please amend the appropriate Annual Reclamation Report map to include the short
segment of re-disturbed drill road.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely
--
Dani .Mat ew/s ~;~
Environmental Protection Specialist
C: Walter Whitledge, CAM
Denver File
Office of Office of Colorado
Mined Land Reclamation Active and Inactive Mines Geological Survey
