October 29, 1992
Pega 7
DOMG Concern

2) No TDS data was reported after October 1990 for Pond A.
rr \~ CYCC Response
V Refer to previous response.
DOMG Concern
3) Pond D shows no discharge during the month of May. Is this
correct? Also no values for TDS were reported. Also in Table 1 what
does NO mean for Manganese (dis) and Manganese (tot. rec.)?
CYCC Response
The discharge information is correct. The TDS question has been
addressed in the response to Question 1). The Table 1 designation
NO is extraneous. The Table will be corrected in the 1995 AHR.
DOMG Concern
4) Pond E should have suspended and settleable solids measured 3
times a month. What happened in February, March, and April?
CYCC Response
CYCC is not entirely clear as to the question. Please note that
Pond E is subject only to a single monthly sample for the
referenced parameters, and that this requirement was met. As
discussed previously, the NPDES outfalls are subject to CDOH
monitoring requirements concerning the number and types of
parameters per our agreement with the Division.
DOMG Concern
5) Pond F TDS values end in October 1990 rather than 3 times a
month. Also settleable solids is shown as mg/1 rather than ml/1.
Also Manganese (dis) was not reported.
CYCC Response
l~( Please refer to the Question 1) response concerning TDS. The
t1Y~ `~p reported units will be corrected for settleable solids in the 1992
