Box 966 <br />Castle Rock CO 80104 <br />MLRB Permit # M-1983-089 <br />Dec 18, 2006 <br />Disturbed Area; <br />Currently the Mine Site of 41A is divided into two areas. <br />The operation area, trailer, roads, stockpiles, and settling ponds. <br />The Mining Area (22.84 Acres) is currently disturbed as follows. <br />The mining is progressing from the Northwest corner to the East. <br />The first 4 Acres is backfilled to final contour with the pit area of 3.1A <br />proceeding east ahead of the fill 1 A is striped preceding the Pit another <br />3.5 Acres is in various states of stripping topsoil etc. The remaining <br />active area is covered with stockpiles and is relatively flat, and <br />approximate the final contour. 60% of the operations area has little <br />vegetation. <br />Basically 7.6 Acres is disturbed as to contours with the remaining <br />area flat with little vegetation. We also have shallow settling ponds in <br />this area. Stockpiled topsoil is detailed on the enclosed map. <br />The acreage was determined from the site map and measurements <br />taken with a GPS unit from the site plan corresponding with the work <br />progressing. <br />John Miner <br />~~~~ <br />
