RESULTS
In reviewing laboratory results, both AA1 and AA3 saw an
increase in conductivity compared to last year. The conductivity
of AA3 reached its highest recorded value however it was only 4$
greater than last years measurement. The conductivity of AA1 was
high but did not exceed values measured in 1987 and 1992. As would
be expected, total dissolved solids showed the same trend as
conductivity. Manganese and iron levels were lower for both wells.
In evaluating the affects of the.mininq operation, based on
conductivity, total dissolved solids, total iron and manganese, the
Bear #3 Mine had no significant deleterious effect on groundwater
during 1995 compared to data generated from 1987 through 1995.
3
