1 <br />' Mine inflow equals approximately 2.39 acre feet per month (18 gpm <br />X 60 X 24 X 30 + 325,851). From June through December the mine <br />consumed 16.73 acre-feet of mine inflow water. Therefore total <br />consumption of water by the mining operation is 28.99 acre-feet <br />(16.73 + 11.26). This consumptive use figure is high compared to <br />' prior years use. Bear does not have any explanation for the higher <br />than usual consumptive use of water in the mine. <br />' Assessment of Hydrologic Impacts <br />' Mining in 1996 is projected to occur in the southeast quarter <br />of section 17 and the southwest quarter of section 16. There are <br />no water resources in the area to be mined in 1996 therefore there <br />' are no projected hydrologic impacts. Bear will continue to handle <br />the water seeping from the 3rd West Section either through <br />' consumptive use, mine discharge or both.
