NORTHWEST COLORADO CONSULTANTS, INC <br />Project: Waste Coal Pile Project No.: 95-2296 <br />Location: Foidel Creek Mine Report No.: 25 <br />Client: Bower Brothers Construction <br />Work Pertortned: <br />iiiiiiiiiiiniuiii <br />sss <br />Date: 7/11/97 <br />Time: 4.0 <br />Mileage: 40 <br />Engr.lTech: JK <br />As requested. we visited the project site on this date to conduct nuclear density test No.'s 100 through 105 on the <br />material placed. <br />Bower Brothers' crews placed and compacted processed waste coal in Area #2 of the waste pile. We obtained <br />one sample for Checkpoint Proctor determination and moisture samples from each test site. The Checkpoint <br />matched curve No. 2 for this project. <br />Remarks: <br />The material tested generally met with project specifications. Compaction ranged from 91 % to 99% and moisture <br />contents ranged from 2.2% below to 2.3% above optimum. We observed all placed materials to appear uniform in <br />compaction and moisture content. <br />Please refer to the attached sheet for the results of today's testing. <br />Verbal Discussions: <br />Bud Bower of Bower Brothers Construction was informed of today's test results. <br />
