Visual examination of the ground surface between monuments "F"
through "I" indicates no surface tension or compression features.
Thompson Ranch Structures
Survey data pertaining to the Thompson Ranch Structures for the
period of record are shown on Table 3, Subsidence Monitoring Data
Summary. No measurable subsidence occurred at the structure
monitoring points, consistent with previous subsidence monitoring
data. Only minor additional subsidence is anticipated to occur
at the ranch structures.
Newlin Creek Monument
Survey monitoring data for the Newlin Creek Monument are present-
ed on Table 3, Subsidence Monitoring Data Summary. No measurable
subsidence occurred at the monument for period of record of this
report. Total cumulative subsidence is shown as 0.60 feet to the
end of the semi-annual monitoring period. Only minor additional
subsidence is anticipated to occur at the streambed monument.
Conclusions
Southfield's required subsidence monitoring program continues to
measure displacement and orientation changes of structures and
monuments. To date, no damage has been observed at the monitored
structures that may result from subsidence. It is anticipated
that only minor additional subsidence will occur at the monitored
locations, and the magnitude of subsidence will be within values
predicted in the permit application.
