Kinney
207 N. Orcharc'.
Farmington, N.M. 87401
Dear, Mr. Kinney,
RECEIVED
JUN 0 3 1991
Division or Minerals & Geology
This letter is in regards to your request for reclamation
recommendations on the Orion gravel pit. This issue has
been discussed with the Mancos Soil Conservation District
(SCD) board, who are familiar with the property the Orion
will be located on. They feel that due to the large amount
of time that will be required to review this permit it would
be best if it was handled by a private consultant. Since the
Mancos SCD does have input on the setting of The NRCS's
priorities and due to the heavy work load that the NRCS
currently has, we will be unable to conduct a review of this
permit at this time. We concur with the Mancos SCD's
recommendation that you retain a private consultant to
address your needs in a timely manner. The soils
information for this area has been enclosed with this
letter.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me at the
number on the letter head.
Respectfully,
~ /
Da on ont~//_
Resource Conservatlonist
ooia7
