No subdrain system is required by our permit,
since geotechnical investigation for the disposal site revealed no
ground water present. Permanent out slopes are approximately 60°s
complete on the toe of sub-area 2-3. These out slopes are stable.
A groundwater monitoring well has been installed between sub-area
1 and sub area 2-3. To date no water has accumulated in the well.
Sub-area 1 has been reclaimed and is no longer in use. To date, a
total of 1,530,333 tons of refuse have been placed in sub-area 2-3.
Lifts are being placed at the north end of sub-area 4 and a total
of 604,635 tons of refuse have been placed to date.
Deserado Mine
P.0.
