As you are aware from past correspondence, we are closing <br />the Colony office in Grand Junction and transferring responsibility for the <br />management of project activities to Houston, Texas. This will occur officially <br />on December 1, 1989, when I will transfer from Grand Junction to an assignment <br />in Houston where I will no longer be involved with the Colony Project. <br />As you know, we will continue to have contractors at the Colony site performing <br />research and monitoring work, as well as ongoing maintenance and security <br />functions. We are pleased that Mr. James F. Q,, who has been responsible for <br />much of the Colony engineering an permit-related activity for a number of <br />years, will assume responsibility for stewardship of the project beginning on <br />December 1. In addition to overseeing the activities at the site, Jim will be <br />responsible for the submission of our MLRD annual report and for such other <br />contact as is necessary to continue fulfilling our permit obligations. <br />Jim's address is on Coal and Minera m an P~~,314.
