Lochhead <br />Eaecuove Dvecmr <br />Michael B Long <br />Division Director <br />On August 29, 1995, the Division of Minerals and Geology received <br />your letter requesting closure of the Sulphur Mtn Gravel Pit, <br />Permit No. M-77-365. You also mentioned in your letter that <br />reclamation would begin in October, 1995. The Division cannot <br />process your request for release until reclamation is completed <br />and the vegetation at the site has established itself equal to, <br />if not better than, the surrounding area. Upon completion of all <br />reclamation requirements, according to the reclamation plan <br />approved by the Mined Land Reclamation Board, you will need to <br />submit another release request following the requirements in <br />Rule 4.16 and C.R.S. 34-32-117(5)(a-d) Copies of this Rule and <br />Statute are enclosed for your information. <br />If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call. <br />Sincerely, <br />Barbara D.
