Our comments are as <br />follows: <br />1. Response accepted <br />2. Response accepted <br />3. Please indicate which point of the outside stream staff gauge <br />is surveyed. Provide a detailed explanation of how this value <br />is then used in conjunction with the monthly measurements to <br />arrive at both a stream elevation and a subsequent flow value. <br />4. The Division received a two-page cover letter and two copies <br />of Map 4b. Please respond to the original question as <br />requested. <br />5. The Division will look forward to receipt of this information <br />annually in the AHR from now on as required by the approved <br />hydrologic monitoring plan. <br />6. Discussions with Mr. Middleton were held in the field during <br />the Division inspection on May 18-20, 1993. The Division did <br />indeed agree with the proposal presented by Mr. Middleton at <br />that time to sample bedrock wells for the Foidel Creek mine <br />during the first week of June, rather than April or May as <br />required. We requested and subsequently received a letter <br />confirming the discussions held in the field on May 29, 1993. <br />There was no misunderstanding that the Division is aware of. <br />We agreed to grant the request as long as a written <br />correspondence was submitted, which it was. There was no <br />
