MINERAL EVALUATION

SCOPE
'
This report presents the results of a mineral evaluation prepared
' for the proposed 242-acre site located on Weld County Road 64,
' northwest of Greeley, Colorado. The evaluation was carried out by ~
means of test borings, engineering evaluation, and preparation of this
report.
The objectives of this evaluation were to (1) determine the depth of
i
overburden and thickness of sand and gravel encountered at the site
and (2) determine the approximate quantities of overburden and sand
' and gravel encountered at the site.
SITE EXPLORATION
The field exploration, carried out on February 16 and 77, 1986,
' consisted of drilling, logging, and sampling twenty (20) test borings.
The locations of the test borings are shown on the Test Boring Location
' Plan included in Appendix A of this report. Boring logs prepared from
the field logs are shown in Appendix A. These logs show soils
' encountered, location of sampling, and groundwater at the time of the
investigation.

' ; SITE LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION I
' The proposed site is located south of County Road 64, east of Weld
County Road 27 and north of the Cache La Poudre River, northwest of
' Greeley, Colorado. More particularly, the site is described as a tract of
land situate in Section 32, Township 6 North, Range 66 West of the
Sixth P. M., Weld County, Colorado.
