BURNETT <br />LEONARD LOURONEN, et al. <br />Plaintiffs, <br />v. <br />COLORADO DfINED LAND RECLAMATION BOARD, et al., <br />Defendants. <br />Affiant Janice L. Burnett, being duly sworn, states as follows: <br />1. I am currently employed as assistant attorney general for <br />the State of Colorado. I have held that position since 1975. <br />2. In 1966 I received a B.A. degree, with honors, from <br />Skidmore College. <br />3. I received a J.D. degree in 1969 from the University of <br />Pennsylvania School of Law. <br />4. From 1969 to 1971 I served as an appellate attorney for <br />the New York City Legal Aid Society, handling criminal cases before <br />the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals, New York Court of Appeals and <br />intermediate New York appellate courts. <br />5. From 1971 to 1973 I served as a deputy State Public Defender <br />for the City and County of Denver. <br />6. From 1973 to 1974 I served as a trial attorney for the <br />Denver Litigation Center, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. <br />7. From 1975 to 1979 I served as a first assistant attorney <br />general in the litigation section of the Colorado Attorney General's <br />Office. I litigated cases in which the state was a party in state <br />and federal courts involving water quality, contracts, personnel <br />matters, medical board prosecutions, consumer fraud, civil rights, <br />NEPA, and constitutional challenges to state statutes and agency <br />operations and/or procedures. I served as office consultant on <br />Governmental Immunity law and on all questions pertaining to the <br />state's tort liability insurance. I supervised five attorneys and <br />one investigator. <br />EXHIBIT F <br />
