The collection pond averaged 0.44 ppm C'N-wad and <br />0.52 ppm CN-total. The weekly sample of the inactive pond, <br />collected on June 22, showed 0.26 ppm CN-wad and 0.31 ppm CN-total. <br />The DMG was notified on June 27th that the active pond sample taken <br />on June 25 showed cyanide levels of 3.84 CN-wad and 4.66 CN-total. <br />Samples collected on June 27 showed a decrease in cyanide levels to <br />2.79 CN-wad and 1.62 CN-total. <br />As specified in TR-010, the DMG was immediately notified of the <br />cyanide levels. The June 19-25 weekly average and the June simple <br />monthly average for pond compliance will not be significantly <br />i:~flu2nced by this anom=-ly.
