Normal dewatering of Sedimentation Ponds MB #1 and MB #2 occur via underdrain
! systems in the bottom of the ponds. The underdrains flow into the outlet
' control tower of each pond. All discharges from MB #1 occurred through the
normal dewatering outlet at discharge point 002 and for MB #2, through the
' normal dewatering outlet at discharge point 004. Analyses, as required under
NPOES Permit CO-0038776, show monitoring results from discharges from
Sedimentation Ponds MB #1 and #2 at Outfalls 002 and 004 respectively and are
presented below. No exceedences of the NPDES effluent limitations occurred
during this quarter from these outfalls.
OUTFACE 0021

1 Parameter Frequency Minimum Avera a Maximum
Flaw Weekly 045 MGD
0 0.054 MGD
Total Suspended Solids Monthly __=
_ 34.8 MG/L
Total Iron Monthly --- --- 0.10 MG/L
pH Weekly --- --- 8.6 SU
1 Oil & Grease Weekly ---- No visible sheen ----
Conductivity Monthly --- --- 1120 umhos/cm
OUTFACE 0042

Parameter Frequency Minimum Average Maximum
Flow Weekly 0.80 MGD --- 1.3 MGD
Total Suspended Solids quarterly --- --- 5.6 MG/L
Total Iron Quarterly --- --- 0.00 MG/L
' pH Quarterly --- --- 8.0 SU
Oil & Grease Quarterly ---- No visible sheen ----
Conductivity Quarterly --- --- 570 umhos/cm
' 1
There was only one week during the quarter during which Sed imentation Pond MB
#1 discharged.
