This report will take the place
of the report submitted in January. As you pointed out in our meeting on
February 15 and in your letter of March 3, 1980, there were several problems with
the original annual report that needed to be cured.
We have submitted, under separate cover, Technical Revisions that we feel will
solve the problems existing to the satisfaction of the Board. These revisions
include, but are not limited to, recalculation of the reclamation bond, a revision
of the timetables and a request to drop any water quality monitoring.
This annual report is based on the assumption that these simple technical revisions
will be approved.
Rule and Regulation 2.41 - please consult attached map for location of all acreage
discussed.
(1) The 18.6+ acres of Stage P were affected. This is the plant site,
roads and scale house. This stage will be the last stage to be reclaimed
and will be affected throughout the life of the mine.
In Stage 0 23.4+ acres were affected by mining and stockpiling. Approx-
imately 3.4+ acres remain to be mined in Stage 0. It is expected that
mining will be completed in this stage by late spring or early summer.
In Stage I only 1.98 acres were affected as stripping began on this stage.
(2) Stage P - No acreage reclaimed or scheduled.
Stage 0 - 9.G+ acres reclaimed as lake.
5.9 acres partially reclaimed.
Stage I - No acreage reclaimed or scheduled.
