Report/November 03, 2003 <br />Permit Number M-1977-410 <br />Calais Resources Inc. <br />By: Tom Hendricks <br />August 2003 through November 03, 2003 <br />~On August Ol, 2003 Calais Resources Inc. closed a new project financing with <br />the Broadway Mortgage group of Denver, Colorado. The financing allowed Calais <br />to pay off several past due accounts payable, payoff a major bank loan and provide <br />operating capital <br />The company entered into a labor contract with Godbe drifting of Montrose, <br />Colorado to diamond drill surface holes with Calais's Longyear 44 drill and <br />equipment. Under the agreement Calais provides ail support work, parts, equipment <br />and road maintenance. A detailed prospecting/exploration permit application was <br />filed with your office along with our drill plans and property map. We received the <br />approved prospect permit from you on September 26, 2003.Oar core drilling <br />program commenced on a one shift per day, i2 hour day, 6 day per week basis. I <br />have attached a copy of our most current news release which details this program <br />during the period of September 2003 through November 03, 2003. <br />The company added approximately 125 acres of unpatanted and patented <br />,property to the Consolidated Caribou District holdings. This included a lease on the <br />13ismark claim on Caribou Hill, he Laramie County and Homestead claims near the <br />Cross Mine, the purchase of the Mt. Vernon claim on Caribou Hill, the purchase of <br />the St. Louis mine on Idaho Hill and the staking of five new 20 acre unpatented <br />claims known as the Kodiak Bear claims north and east of Idaho Hill. These were <br />survey and located for Calais by Drexel Harrell surveyors and Engineers of Boulder, <br />olorado.
