Introduction
Calais Reoowces has, for the first rime in history, consolidated all the key mining properties of
the Caribou mining district, Colorado. Consolidation has been achieved with ]ow royalty and
holding costs. The properties, consisting of 3.5 squaze miles of patented and unpatented mining
claims, are located in sections 4, 5, 7, 8 and 9, Tl S, R73 W, Boulder Country, Colorado.
Exploration by Calais in 1997 and 1998 has led to expansion of gold and silver resowces on
known vein systems and new discoveries. During the 1997 and 1998 exploration season
twenty-fow core holes were drilled for a total of 45,840 feet of drilling.
With the ultimate objective of developing a new mining operation at Caribou, Calais has planned
an aggressive exploration plan for 2003 to expand and upgrade the gold and silver resowces to a
higher level of confidence. That plan is detailed in this document.
All historic data including mine workings, geology, surface and underground core drill holes has
been fully documented in the advanced Vulcan 3-D computer system of Maptek located in
Lakewood, Colorado.
Management Team
Thomas Hendricks, who has~yeazs experience as a professional hazd rock miner, mill
operator and project manager has spent~yeazs of his cazeer working on the Caribou District
Mines project.
Robert L. Akrigbt, a geologist, has over 40 years of professional experience in the minerals
industry with a focus on exploration and development of gold and silver deposits.
Permitting
The project is fully permitted and in good standing with all County, State and Federal agencies.
The operation maintains high environmental standards and MSHA safety training programs. The
Caribou Mines District Mines have been designated a historic mining district in Boulder County.
An historic water right on a local drainage is owned by the company.
Core Drilling Plan
With Calais's success and new discoveries in the wide spaced exploration core drilling program of
1997 and 1998, the next logical phase of work is a closer spaced core hole drilling program
designed to better document the gold and silver resowces.
