<br />5.2 Ground Water <br />Purgatoire Alluvium -Stations PAW-1, PA\V-2, PAW-3, PAW-4, PAW-5 and PA1V-6. <br />These stations will be monitored quarterly for water level, pH, conductivity and <br />temperature. In addition, an annual sample collected in November will be analyzed <br />for the water quality parameters listed in Table 2 of the letter. Station PA1V-6 will <br />also be monitored quarterly for total dissolved solids, total suspended solids, total <br />combustible solids, bicarbonate, sodium, iron and manganese. This data will be <br />utilized to assess potential impacts of mining and surface activities. <br />Ciruela Canyon Alluvium -Station CCAW-l. <br />This station will be monitored quarterly and annually for the same parameters as <br />described for PAW-6. The data will be utilized to assess potential impacts of mining <br />and surface activities. <br />Apache Canyon Alluvium -Station ACAW-L. <br />Following assessment of baseline data collected from the flume and projections of <br />impacts associated with the five year mine plan, bALR approved discontinuation of <br />monitoring until further disturbance is proposed in this canyon. <br />-33- <br />
