Walker D~~~.~nnD~r~c~nr <br />subject: Finding of Compliance, 1998 .4nnLlal Hydrology Report <br />date: March 1, 1999 <br />Rule 4.0~.13(4)(e): A hydrologic report shall be submitted to the Division annually with the date <br />ofsrrbmittal determined in consultation with the permittee. The annztal hydrologic report shall <br />contain at a minimum: <br />• The report is in compliance with this rule. The report was received in the Division of Minerals and <br />Geology (Division) on February 26, 1999. The report is required to be submitted by the Coors <br />Energy Company (CEC) by the end of February (Permit, page 117). <br />Rule 4.05.14(4)(c)(i): Water gzrantiry data obtained from each monitoring site dzzring the water <br />year; <br />The report is in compliance with this rule with the approved vaziance that water quantity data vas <br />submitted by calendar year in-lieu-of water year (Permit, page l 17). There are no surface water <br />monitoring sites. Well water levels are taken. <br />Rule 4.05.14(4)(c)(ii): Water yuafiry data obtained from each monitoringsite during the water year, <br />and <br />The report is in compliance with this rule with the approved variance that water quality data was <br />submitted by calendar year in-lieu-of water year (Permit. paee I l7). The monitoring program is <br />described on pages 56 and >7 of the Permit. Sic wells are monitored. Required information is in <br />the report on pages 50 through 3~. The report includes barium as a parameter of testing (not required <br />by Division of Minerals and Geology, but by the Colorado Department of Public Health and <br />Environment for monitoring this parameter as consequence of disposing hard rock nti ne waste at tite <br />site). <br />L J <br />
