The report is, as we have become to expect, well written, <br />informative, and accurate. However, some information required by the rules appears to have <br />been omitted. Please find enclosed a copy of our review to file. With reference to the review, <br />please address the following items in revisions to the report. <br />• <br /> <br />Rule 2.04.13(1) Please include the address of Coors Energy Company, as the permittee, in the <br />/report. This might be added to the first cover page of the report. <br />/Rule 2.04.13(1)(c) Please indicate on drawing ESFM99 the location of the azeas backf_illed <br />/ andlor graded during 1998 (the 11 acres of the A-Pit haul road and 9 acres of A-Pit. <br />Rule 2.04.13(1)(d) Please indicate on drawing ESFM99 the location and acreage of topsand <br />placement (western portion of A-Pit haul road). Please include in the report any placement <br />/ (location and acreage) of topsand placed on the A-Pit during 1998. Division copies of these <br />V revised drawings will be annotated with depth measurements taken in the field during <br />inspections. This information will in turn be used when processing your applications for <br />revisions to reclamation cost estimates, bond releases, etc. <br />Rule 2.04.13(1)(e) Please include in the report your 1998 interseeding (augmentation) activity. <br />J Acreages, locations, species, etc is required. Please annotate Drawing VSL99 to indicate both <br />the date of initial seeding and the date of interseeding or reseeding. <br />The Division understands the argument Coors Energy Company is making regarding species <br />diversity and vegetative life form composition. To advance the argument, please consider <br />submission of a Technical Revision to the permit with substantiating evidence to support a <br />proposal to revise the success standards. <br />
