Long <br />Division Director <br />RE: 1995 Annual Hydrology Report, Canadian Mine, #C-81-026 <br />i have completed review of the 1995 Annual Hydrology Report (AHR) <br />for the Canadian Mine. My questions and observations are as <br />follows below. <br />1. I concur with the consultants conclusions of water level <br />increases due to the backfilling of the nearby 720 pit at the <br />Mart mine. The Division should attempt to get field readings <br />(pH, temperature, EC) this field season on the spoil water to <br />confirm that the developing spoil aquifer has characteristics <br />that we would consider normal. <br />I have no further questions or concerns. <br />
