Field data are presented in Appendix A, ]998 Field Daca. Water samples were collected
and analyzed in October, Aprii, and July. The individual analyses of samples collected are
presented in Appendix D, 1993 Mine Area Alluvial Water Quality Analyses. Table 1, 1998
Groundwater Quality Statistics, includes the 1998 water quali[y summary for Well AO-2A.
' The mean field and laboratory parameter values for the past Five years are presented in Table 5,
Historic Mine Area Alluvial Vllater Quality Data. Figure 5, EC vs. TDS-Well AO-2A, shows
the levels and relationship between electrical conductance and total dissolved solids.
t Well AO-2A is located in Bush Draw, downstream (east) of the northern extent of the
reclaimed Pit 1 area. In 1992, low water levels and the silted condition of wet] AO-2 resulted in
' no samples collected. Well AO-2A replaced Well AO-2 in January 1993 and was completed to
a depth of 14 feet adjacenc to [he original location.
