During the week, the active pond averaged 2.71 ppm CN-wad and 2.94 ppm CN-total. The collection pond average 0.29 ppm CN-wad and 0.44 ppm CN-total. The weekly sample of the inactive pond, collected on July 13, showed 1.49 ppm CN-wad and 1.48 ppm CN-total. As per the telephone message of July 12 and phone call on July 13, the active pond (lower pond) sample showed cyanide conceentrations of 4.58 ppm CN-wad and 4.97 CN-total on July 12. O:n July 13 cyanide concentrations were 5.47 CN-wad and 5.96 CN-total. Samples collected July 14 showed concentrations of 3.07 ppm CN-wad and 3.34 CN-total. As specified in TR-010, the DMG was immediatley notified of the cyanide levels. The July 10-16 weekly average and the Jlaly simple monthly average fer pond compliance will not be significantly influenced by this anomaly.
