URP,L RESOURCES <br />423 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street ~ /~ <br />Denver, CO. 80203 / <br />~S~s9 <br />Dear Mr. Zalkind: ~ ~ ' R ',y <br />qhn, fJ''''OY <br />SUBJECT: 1983 ANNUAL MINING AND RECLAMATION P,EPORT AND MAP <br />PERMIT 77-140 <br />The following is our annual reclamation report and map for 1983- <br />Also, I have included a summary of all of our reclamation efforts so <br />far. <br />The map will reflect all of the reclamation work we have done and <br />include the work we plan on doing next year, 1983• <br />Mining and Reclamation Plan for 1983 <br />Mining in 1983 <br />In 1983, we are planning on dredging our material, as our means <br />for extracting pitrun material out of the pit. <br />We experimented with this process last year, but did not get the <br />production we had hoped for. <br />With the purchase of some additional equipment and some changes on <br />existing equipment we are now using, we think that next year this rnethod <br />of extraction will prove both feasible and practical. <br />Also in 1983, we hope that we will not be enlarging the pit area <br />anymore. <br />If the dredging process becomes more successful, we would then be <br />extracting gravel to a greater depth, and would accordingly want to make <br />a change in our mining and reclamation plan. <br />If dredging is successful in 1983, then I will submit a technical <br />revision for our reclamation plan in the summer of 1983 for your approval. <br />If not, then our basic mining plan probably will not change. <br />Total affected land would be less than one-half acre if dredging <br />proves successful. <br />
