Flow was observed at this site <br />for the first time ever on February 24, 1997. Flows hays bean perennial Por this year. <br />Site YSGFS. This site exists on Cressy Creek below the proposed NPDESII pond. This pond <br />was completed in October 1997. <br />Sites YSGS. This site exists on Cressy Creek below all discharges from both the Yoaet and <br />Seneca II Hines. it became part of the required monitoring program in October 1995. TDS <br />values here are affected more by the Seneca II Hine than the Yoaet Mine. <br />Spring YSPG6. This spring (also knorn as Armand Spring N1) supplies water to the old <br />Armand homsa toad. <br />Spring YSPG10 . This spring is actually an artesian well (also known as Armand Artesian <br />Well). It is sampled only when Flowing. <br />Comparison of Surface Water Quality to Water Use Standards. Irrigation and livestock <br />standards (Tables 5 and 6) were described in the preceding ground water saetien. These <br />standards were compared with all stream and spring data collected during this reporting <br />period. <br />Table 11 provides a comparison of surface rater quality to irrigation atandarda. <br />Standards exceeded were pS (5 sites) and sulfates (3 sites). <br />Table 12 provides a comparison of surface water quality to livsstock standards. The only <br />standard exceeded was pN (5 sites). <br />The Yoaat Mine PeC (PAP Tab 17) predicts TDS inereaaee to be observed at various stream <br />sites during the irrigation season (May-September). The following table outlines those <br />predictions along with this years oDServad averages. <br />• <br />6 <br />
