Our records also indicate that the Annual Report and fees have not been submitted for the years 1980-81, 1981-82 and 1982-83. The following report is for the period 1980 through 1984. Mining continued as approved in the Technical Revision dated January 27, 1981. Please refer to the Annual Report map for the location of areas discussed in this report. We will deal specifically with each of the Annual Report questions as outlined in Section 2.41 of the Rules and Regulations. 2.41 (1) No new lands have been affected during the period 1981 through 1984. A portion of land was disturbed along the east bank of the river in 1980. To date, we have mined 13.04 acres t/- (see map, areas colored blue, lite blue and brown). We have stripped an additional 27.66+/- acres (canary) to be used as a plant site and for area due to be mined in the next year. (2) No reclamation was required during this time period. (3) Backfilling is the only reclamation performed to date. See yellow and purple areas on Annual Report map for 6.57+/- backfilled acres. i4) Not applicable. (5) Not applicable. (6) Backfilling to date has been successful. The soil stockpile areas not in immediate use have good weed cover. We do not anticipate any problems with wind or water erosion.
