The vegetation planted
during 1988 and 1989 along the road cut slopes and the new banks of Clear Creek
(created by the Clear Creek County Road and Bridges department's realignment of
County Road 136/Trail Creek road during 1988) is being maintained and is spread-
ing. Other areas left disturbed by the road construction have been filled with
crushed rock from a cross-cut being driven in the Phoenix mine and have been
leveled for additional tourist parking. Other waste rock is still being used to
fill existing open stopes in the old Phoenix mine workings. Operations are expected
to continue on the same basis during the coming year. Other affected areas (roads,
parking, equipment storage areas) have not been reclaimed as they are still being
used by the current mining and tourist activity.
~Q.,ti~ (o -1 b - 9 O
Signature
