Please respond to the questions or comments as necessary with 45
days of receipt of this letter.
1999 and 2000 ARR Review Response
Please respond to the issues outlined in the Division's March 6, 2002 letter
regarding review of the 1999 and 2000 Annual Reclamation Reports. As
appropriate, please ensure that necessary changes are included in the
forthcoming 2002 ARR for the New Elk mine as well.
2001 ARR Review
2. Please include a map with each ARR showing areas reclaimed and year of
reseeding. Seed mix used should also be identified for each parcel, especially
where different from the currently approved mix. This map becomes more
important as additional areas are reclaimed and the reclamation bond liability
period becomes more significant.
If you have any questions, please call me.
Sincerely,
Kent Gorham
Environmental Protection Specialist I!
